To comply with Government requirements it is important that all visitors and members make tee bookings in advance, it is not permitted to simply turn up and play. If you require assistance with downloading the Members App or registering on the Members Hub section of the website that will allow you to make tee bookings please contact us via email; info@askernishgolfclub.com

Following a thorough risk assessment process the following procedures will now be in place;

• The clubhouse will open from Monday 20th July. Opening hours will be Monday-Friday 09.00-17.00. The clubhouse will be limited to one person at a time and face coverings must be worn.
• Rental clubs and trolleys are only available by prior appointment.
• The practise putting green will remain closed until further notice.
• The indoor practise facility will open in line with clubhouse hours but is limited to a maximum of 8 persons from 2 households to maintain physical distancing.

• Tee times must be booked online via club app or the member’s hub on the club website and all player names must be booked in. No turn up and play times will be available.
• Tee times will be 10 minutes apart starting at 09.00 and will be a maximum of 4 players.
• If you are the shielding group you can play with up to one other household.
• The last tee time available will be 18.00.
• Any guests must be paid for in advance of playing. Payment can be made online via website.

• Golfers should travel separately or with family members living in the same household to the club.
• Golfers are requested to bring their own hand sanitiser with them and to take any litter home with them.
• Golfers are requested not to turn up to the club any earlier than 15 minutes prior to tee time.
• You should only approach the first tee when the group in front have played and moved off from the tee.

• Please make sure that you stay clear of green staff at all times.
• Flags to remain in the hole at all times, measures will be in place to ensure the ball can be retrieved without touching flagstick. Gimmies are encouraged for putts shorter than 1 foot.
• Bunker rakes will not be placed in bunkers. Golfers are asked to smooth bunkers with feet and club.
• All touch points including bins, benches, tee signs and hazard markers will be removed.
• Social distancing must be observed at all times during the round.
If you feel ill or have any COVID-19 symptoms please stay at home.


• PLEASE ADOPT A ZERO-TOLERANCE TO ANYONE NOT ABIDING BY THESE RULES.
